I read this review and wondered , on my ! But that was from 2014 ! Must have new owners because this place is the best !!! Looks new ! Full kitchen with full size s/s fried/ freezer .. flooring is tile and hardwood . Bathroom is high end as is the bed ! Best sleep EVER!! We had a lightening/ thunder show in the middle of the night ( with a tad of rain ) ... this am is clear as a bell. Over-rated. Everyone loves this place, but I find the menu quite boring. I guess because its the most expensive place in town, people think its "fine dining". Yes, its a good resturant. But its not the best. The staff do try to offer great service because they can earn the big tips. But they usually tend to stick the younger staff downstairs (lounge) and it shows. Read more

So my friend Dave says, I'm taking you to have the World's Best Beef Dip. I say " what?" here in Grande Prairie? He says YA. So we go last night and order the Beef Dip at the Crown & Anchor Pub. I get a plate with half a french loaf, TEAMING with shaved beef and a large bowl of au jus. Fries... Gravy. Heaven. I had done a half hour run before dinner so was very hungry to say the least. This totally knocked my socks off. If you are in Grande Prairie and haven't tried it. Go for it! I'll be back for sure! Read more
