When you walk into Espace Nomad, you will remove your shoes at the front door and feel your toes sink with individual relief into the thick carpet, springy and dry as a sunny, autumn forest floor. The air inside is lightly musky, and the handcrafted details of the décor come into focus to ease your acclimatization. That’s when you know you’ve left the boulevard and the city entirely behind.
In the early days before Espace Nomad had its space, owner Julie Mercier would spend her days delivering massages at clients’ workplaces, releasing people from their knots (and computer screens) to reclaim their inner peace. That feeling of bliss carried over when Julie found a permanent location. “When people step into Espace Nomad spa, they feel like they leave their daily life behind, that they travel,” Julie says.
Espace Nomad still offers massages directly in your workplace so you never have to leave your desk. Or you can book an appointment at the spa, situated in Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood on Saint-Laurent Boulevard.
Catering to different client needs and travel preferences, Espace Nomad is a holistic, ecological spa offering massages from around the world, as well as vegan manicures and pedicures, organic facials, and gentle and natural hair removal for both women and men.
Offering traditional Swedish and Californian massages for two, this is a fabulous place to sit back and relax. Share in the experience with your partner and enjoy the pleasure of deep relaxation together.
Espace Nomad was Montreal’s first organic spa. They have a warm and inviting space and professional and friendly staff members. They offer many different massages, including services for pregnant women, organic body treatments, holistic care and infrared therapy. Enjoy one of their many packages in a rejuvenating atmosphere.
