Accords ('pairings' in English) is proud to be a 'natural' wine bar, one of the few of its kind in the country. We help you discover foreign and local vintages chosen to nourish your enjoyment of fine wine selections with great food. We serve only the highest quality cuisine, transformed in our kitchen largely from Quebec-based produce. Our menus follow the seasons, inspired by local production cycles. Our breads and desserts are lovingly made in our own kitchens and our coffees are fair-trade and organic. Special attention is paid to allergens and we have a wide gluten-free offering. Accords eclectic menu and wine list is at the heart of who we are. We propose unusual food and wine pairings, which is the joyful labour of our chef-collaborator Marc-André Lavergne and sommelier Charles Marquis. It also gives our team great pleasure to encourage and advise you, as in nature, to explore your own taste trails.more...See more text
The $41 evening menu, created by Simon Mathys, offers a first course of broccoli, mussels and sunflower seeds or potatoes and Avonlea cheddar. For mains, you have a choice of two dishes: trout, squash and ricotta or guinea fowl with beans and cream of leek. For dessert, it’s up to you to decide between the Mexican chocolate with smoked cacao or the pear with white chocolate and pumpkin seeds.
With an eclectic wine list that includes lots of organic and natural wines, Accords makes for an interesting evening of sipping. Add to this the delectable bistro cuisine created by one of the top chefs of the moment, Simon Mathys, and you’re in for a truly enjoyable experience.
Bring your little darlings out to discover the new dishes at Accords, located in the Place des Spectacles, and have them try the veal tenderloin, risotto or Arctic char. Finish with a chocolate-blueberry cake that will fill their tummies to give them enough energy for the rest of the day. The wine list will reward the parents.
