This restaurant had always been a favourite of mine. However, when I went there on this particular day, the service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant wasn't full. I could hear the kitchen staff talking, as if the cook was being taught how to make the food. We waited 40 minutes for the fried rice to appear. When it did, it was very oily which is very unusual from its previous appearances. We were so disgusted by it and simply could not finish the food. I would delay coming back until their cooks have been well trained.
My wife had a craving for Thai food for Valentine's Day. We chose the Pickering location. We arrived at about 6:45pm. The restaurant was approximately one third full. One server working food orders, one server working only drink orders. About a half hour to forty minutes after ordering appetizers I was informed that they didn't have calamari or sticky rice. After waiting about another half hour our food finally arrived. The Pad Thai was not good. Trust me, this place will NOT survive. Not a good thing when the wait staff agree! They stated it "was crazy in here tonight". Owner was there but would not take the time to hear our concerns about the dinner or the service.
