My wife paid for decking 2”x6” dimension and paid for the lumbar to be cut to size. The timber supplied to her measured 1.5”x 5.5” so it did not conform to the rest of the dock being repaired. The response to asking for a refund was that they always supply the smaller size, even though both their website and my wife’s receipt clearly says the larger size. No refund as the timber had been cut, even despite the incorrect size being supplied. Isn’t this breaking some consumer protection law?
