    Rude and unsanitary

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I have an intolerance to lactose so I asked if they had almond milk and if they had flavors for the lattes. The barista used a pitcher previously used for regular milk and wiped the steamer rod with the same cloth which is quite neglectful and unsanitary. Plus, his service was rather rude (sighs and no eye contact). I'm not an entitled customer, I believe my questions were legitimate since I was a new customer and have dietary limitations.

If you think a day without chocolate is like a day without sunshine, take a stroll through A Thing For Chocolate’s bright red front door for a taste of mouth-watering crêpes topped with chocolate, fruit, custard and hazelnuts. Located on Ottawa's historic Wellington Street, this cozy crêperie gives you the chance to revel in brownies, crème brulee, cheesecake and chocolate fondue. You can also pair your dessert with a coffee or a rich hot chocolate made with real Callebaut dark chocolate.

Stop in at this tiny café for light, savoury crepes available in vegan and gluten-free options. However, make sure to save room for dessert, which can range from slightly indulgent (one hand-made chocolate, perhaps, or fruit drizzled with chocolate ganache) to completely celebratory (chocolate fondue for two). The hot chocolate, rich with melted Callebaut chocolate chips, can be made with dairy, almond or soy milk. Enjoy it all in a Parisian-themed interior that includes decorative French plates and an Eiffel Tower mural.
