    Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!

    When my family decided to enroll me in ballet, they visited every dance school in the city. None of those schools came close to the quality of instruction found at the Donita Ballet School. I have been dancing with her ever since. When it came time for my sister to start dancing, there was no question as to where she would go. The Donita Ballet school enstills a sense of grace, elegance and discipline in all which attend. There is no doubt that this is the best school in the entire city.

    Exceptional School

    I have been with Donita Ballet School for 16 years now and have the best experiences of my life. Donita is the most dedicated and passionate teacher you will find in the city. She truly cares about her students and giving each and every one of them her undivided attention. I owe all that I have become as a dancer to her. Her specialized training has enabled me to graduate from Ryerson University's BFA dance program and gain acceptance into a professional dance company. Donita is the kind of teacher that you remember all your life, whether you dance for fun or professionally, she offers dancers the environment to live out their passion to the fullest!

    Donita Ballet School is the best in the city!

    The artistic director, Donita Nahon, is a former professional ballerina with exquisite taste and and a sincere passion for the art of dance. She is very motivating and is determined to help her students progress, with absolutely no favoritism. Class sizes are appropriate for receiving personal attention- which includes technical corrections! I have had the pleasure of being part of DBS for five years. Five years ago I left a well known ballet school located in Thornhill because of its large class sizes (sometimes reaching beyond 30 students), unbearable favoritism, poor technique, overpriced classes/recital tickets/costumes and overall bad experience. I found that most schools that have this kind of poor character also have cases of bullying between peers. At Donita Ballet School we are a tight-nit community who accept any and all who have the passion and the compassion to learn ballet. The learning experience at DBS puts safety first, therefore proper technique is the highest priority. Thankfully, not only does this help the dancers dance nicer, they also maintain a healthier body and a better shape! For me, the "cherry on top" is that, every year, Donita choreographs brand new pieces. That means the dancers are not performing the same few productions year after year (as I know is the case in the larger schools)! More advanced students have the opportunity to help with some of the choreography, which gives them first-hand experience in that field. There is no comparison with Donita Ballet School. *****

    Excellent School

    If you want personal attention, honest assessment and excellent corrections, you will find it here. Also - the choreography for the end of year show is far superior to what you will experience elsewhere. I have been a student there almost 20 years, dancing with students of all ages.

    DBS is the best

    I have experienced top quality from Donita Ballet School. She pays attention to technique impeccably and shows all original choreography. Her end of the year recitals are amazing. The dancing, the costumes, everything is just magical.
