I took my wife here for her Birthday. We hadn't been in a while. Right from when we walked in and waited forever to be seated I had a bad feeling. The Hostess or whomever came around and stared at us like we were on wanted posters ha ha...we shrugged it off but she did it the whole time we were there...weird. Server came around when she felt like it and was acting weird too. The food was so so which was sooo disappointing considering all the other times we had been it was just amazing. Our bill was HUGE and likely wouldn't have cared if we had had a nice experience. At the end of our meal all the staff were closing up shop...talking accross the diningroom as though no one was there. It was 10pm only. Why do servers always or only smile when it's tip time? This place should not hire Diner Servers for a Fine Dining Restaurant...Customers have brains and notice these things. Well back to only eating in St. Catharines oooooh well
I had the stuffed portobello mushroom appetizer, it was delicious! I will go back just for that. It came with a little bit of salad. I also had the gnocci verdi, which was very good except the sauce was more like soup and very salty! There were 23 of us. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, I didn't hear any complaints. Except my cousin beside me, I don't think he was impressed.
Ate here a few times and even recommended to others. Food is good for price. Fish, Steak, Veal, Lamb all good. Service has been good and appetizers and desert is ok.
Awful! Over priced. Would NEVER visit again. Looks nice, but that is all.
Great wine selection resonably priced service was great and the food delicious. We will definetly return.
