although our reservation was not observed, within half an hour of arriving our large party was seated in the tiny dining room. after a 20 minute wait i had to request a wine list. another 20 minutes later, once our wine was served, everything was excellent: our server was pleasant, our appetizers brought quickly and the pasta was hot, fresh and delicious. everyone in our party was delighted with their individual pasta selection. many vegetarian possibilities on the menu! the coffee was fresh, even at 10:30pm and the dessert delectable. I can't wait until my next visit.

I have been here a number of times with friends and family. Everyone I have ever been there with loves this restaurant. I have seen people compalin about service...yes it is slow, because they are preparing everything from scratch. Don't go if you are in a hurry - go when you have time to savour the incredible flavours here. The same girl usually waits on us...I think she is the owner as well. She always goes out of her way to make sure we are pleased. As she does at every table. She even explained how to make on of the appetizers to my daughter and I and where to get the ingredients locally. Yes the place is small, and could use a little work ( I mean a little) but my family and I go for the food. The size of the place is one of their little quirks that gives this NOT a chain restaurnat feel to it. We recently brought all 3 of our children (16, 13, 9) They LOVED it...my 9 year old didn't love the suace he chose for his pasta at first...the waitress noticed he was not eating it and took it into the kitchen...added some cream suace to the red and a little extra cheese and voila he ate every single bit on his plate. Normally I would not reccommend to bring children here especially if they are at an age where they are impatient/loud/cranky...go just yourselves and wait until they can appreciate it..the other patrons will be glad you did (As will you)! All in all this is one of the best places for pasta and apps in the city.
service was slow, they needed more people working. it is a very small place but still one person on the floor was not enough. there are much better more authentic italian places to eat in the area and in hamilton in general. food was above average but cold.

I went here solely on the review from this page and was thoroughly disappointed. The decor was tacky: paint chipping off the walls, fake & dusty plants, the tablecloth was dirty. The service was resonable. But the food was nothing to write home about! I am glad that it was inexpensive because it certainly wasn't worth more than what i paid. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I would not return.
