After years of travelling through Greece, owners George and Eleni Moschopoulos have opened Folia grill, in hopes of bringing some of their beloved flavours of classic Greek fast food home to Toronto. In Greece the freshest ingredients are treated simply, letting their true flavours shine. Pork is one of the most loved and prominent meats on the Greek table. Small neighbourhood restaurants grill up cubed pork belly souvlaki over charcoal. The smell is tantalizing and the taste is out of this world. It was something about the sharp tanginess of the lemon and the salty smokiness of the meat that left them dreaming of more while back home in Canada. Folia Grill was built around these fond memories. Menu items were carefully chosen to best reflect what would typically be found in these neighbourhood restaurants. Choose from the pork or chicken gyro at Folia Grill. The rotisserie meat comes in either a sandwich or dinner plate, with a side of Greek salad, rice, roasted potatoes and tzatziki. Folia Grill is open seven days a week.
