This restaurant has excellent tasting food, large capacity and a beutiful decor, although the service wasn't Superb, you definetly could see that the staff tried to service you the best they could. The facilities were top notch and foods like the dosa were made on the spot which gave this restaurant a unique touch.

New location is very spacious, but like teh other you have to wait to seated. The greater didi not know how to talk to people, very impolite and not respectful to elders. The hot food in the buffet is a bit cold (heat it up guys) service was so so they advertise cola, shakes, tea...but nobody comes to take your order how stupid is that...guys you spent money on teh place mats have your wait staff take orders.... GOOD luck

This restaurant is a discrace to the indian...

This restaurant is a discrace to the indian culture. The experience was horrible since the minute I walked through the door. The people at the front were extremely rude and had a horrible attitude. We were seated in the dinning room on The far corner of the restaurant located close to the washrooms. Sitting at the table was a tight squeeze. They put ten people on a table that should fit eight and gave us two extra chairs. As soon as we were seated we were given water, and greeted by our server. We then got up to go to the buffet area. We picked up plates which still seemed to be wet. There was very little to select from. Most of the dishes had paneer in them. I am not a big fan of paneer. I was very dipleased with the food. The south asian dishes were a big success but there was always a line up for it. The service in the dinning room was excellent. Even though it looked like they were under staffed for such a busy day, they still did a very good job of keeping the customers Happy. Even though the food wasn't that great, I enjoyed the staff in the dinning room because they were very friendly. I felt sorry for the young staff. They worked so hard and were being treated very rudely by many of the customers. The staff is not to blame, they tried there hardest to make our visit as pleasant as possible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This honestly the worst indian food I have ever had. If you really want to eat Indian food drive around the corner and go to minar. It's a great place to take the family and the atmosphere is quite nice.

Best all-you-can-eat restaurants in Toronto

Aptly named, Brars’ Grand Buffet is open for lunch (11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and dinner (5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). Authentically Indian, the buffet is entirely vegetarian, consisting of dishes like paneer, samosas, aloo gobi and vegetable biryani. The restaurant first opened in 1986 and now has two locations, one in Etobicoke and one in Brampton, as well as their own line of Indian products sold at Wal Mart and Loblaws.
