We recently had a new garage built and ourt home re-sided by Mercers Best Built Structures Inc. We first heard of the company by word of mouth and they came highly recommended so we contacted them for a quote, among a couple of other companies. They not only had the best prices but also the best customer service. They were very accomodating to meeting with us, even on a Saturday morning at our home, to review options and go over plans.For a big job everything went smoothly. They were very easy to deal with and as mentionned before, very accomodating. The quality of products used were great and jobs were done both efficiently and in a timely manner. All of the workers were very friendly and it was nice to see the owner Jeremy Mercer make several trips to our home to check that things were going well and that we were satisfied, step-by-step. You can tell he takes pride in his business and expects good quality work. I would highly recommend this company for any renovation or construction project.

We had Mercer’s Best Built Structures build a large “in-law” addition to our home earlier this year. This was a complex project, as the floors, ceilings, and roof had to match perfectly with the existing structure, and the heating, plumbing and electrical systems all had to be extended. We approached several builders to get a quote for how much our addition would cost and Mercer’s price was very reasonable, but what made us chose Mercer’s was his excellent reputation.
Jeremy Mercer and his staff were always pleasant to deal with. They listened carefully to what we wanted, and they had many valuable suggestions of their own for us to consider. We found that Jeremy did not take any shortcuts – he always insisted that his staff and his subcontractors build it right. If something was not quite right during the construction, Jeremy made sure that his staff or his subcontractors fixed it right away.
As the construction progressed, we had some ideas for improvements that were not part of our contract. Jeremy allowed these changes and charged us only the extra cost that he incurred. Our final bill was exactly what we had agreed upon, with the only additional charges being things that we had asked to be added.
We are very happy with the completed addition. You can’t tell where the old house ends and the new addition starts (see the attached picture – the addition is on the right). I would highly recommend Mercer’s to anyone planning a construction project. He certainly earned our respect and trust.
