BLOGlone tree coffeeOUR NAME: Steeped in local history, 'l'arbre seul' (the lone tree), now a vanished landmark, was one of the oldest recorded sites along the Okanagan Brigade Trail. The trail was first used by fur traders to transport supplies and goods for trade and later used by gold miners on their journey to the Cariboo. We think this bit of history is worth preserving.OUR COMPANY: We are so proud to be from this amazing part of the world, and could not imagine a more beautiful place to freshly roast our artisan coffee. The Beanery Coffee House is hidden in the Fairview Crescent residence on the UBC campus. This café doesn’t look anything like the other modern coffee houses at UBC, and instead features a cozy and rustic interior. The multileveled space offers plenty of seating with tables and couches on both floors, so you’re sure to find a seat for your next study session.
Beanery is a highly regarded favourite among West Side Vancouver residents. There’s a shelf full of entertaining games for customers to enjoy while partaking in some delicious food and drinks. This is a UBC campus gem and a favourite of students present and past.
