Decided to try Zola's breakfast again...it was excellent. I had breakfast several months previously and did not find it very good. However this visit was excellent. I had the breakfast special...two eggs over easy with sausage and homefries. The eggs and sausage were very good. The home fries are at least equal to any I have tasted in the city. breakfast come with a fabulous fresh fruit cup and a rosemary spiced grilled tomatoe and great artisan ancient grain bread. I have finally found my breakfast place of choice.No need to go elsewhere best breakfast in the city.

An out of the way little house that looks like a local take out pizza joint. Walk in and there are a few tables. Sit down and order and get some of the best Italian food I have had in Ottawa. Ask what the special is, you never know. We stared wit a sausage appetizer that is to die for, flavorful and spiced just right. There were 6 of us so we all ordered different things and tried each others. There was not a loser in the bunch. Skip the insalata, it is just greens on a plate. The veal picatta was outstanding and the pastas were great. Get the house wine, the night we were there it was a very good valpolicella.
You will need reservations here very soon, best to call before had anyway.

I am a celiac and I just discovered this restaurant! When you walk in they ask if you need a gluten free menu which is something I’ve never been asked before. They have an amazing variety of options for gluten free. The service was insanely good and there was nothing but an evening filled with laughs and a great environment. The chef comes out to check up on you during the meal asking if you need anything else and checking in to see how you’re enjoying the meal.

There is a science to cooking pasta right, you cant just throw everything in a pan and cook it. You can tell they take their time with each dish, and it just tastes magnificent. Mes enfants et moi y sommes allés plusieurs fois et avons toujours appréciés. Leur gazpacho est délicieuse et bien épicée, ils ont de multiples salades, dont une aux fruits de mer que j'ai beaucoup aimée. Des plats variés toujours appétissants. Et des petits déjeuners tout inclus.
