In December I called Top Hat as the pilot light on my gas fire would not stay alight. The valve that controls the gas being open or closed due to heat had failed. I asked for a service call and the person to bring a valve with them. An appointment was booked for January 26th and yes the person arrived without valve. He took the fireplace apart and tried to light the pilot light and informed me it was faulty. I am still waiting in February for a valve and someone to replace it. So far $100+!!!
We got an air-tight fireplace insert from Top Hat (Neo1.6). From sales to fireplace cleaning, to inspection, to installation, the process was so very well coordinated! We were very impressed with all services. The installers Justin E and Randall were very friendly, professional and covid-careful. It was a pleasure to deal with Top Hat! Highly recommend...Thank-you!
Absolutely no knowledge of heating units they sell. I had them in to service one they sold me, and was charged, and they knew nothing of why the unit wasnt burning properly. Then the service fellow left saying he would verify with office. Thy call back looking for money with out being concerned in helping me find any sollution. Anyplace else is better.
