1. Citrus fumigation

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 5 drops of lemongrass essential oil

Method

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl of boiling water.

  3. Hold for 10 minutes and then sprinkle your face with fresh water and dry without rubbing.

Ingredients

  • 30 g (2 tbsp.) dried thyme
  • 5 g (1 tsp) dried yarrow
  • 5 g (1 tsp) dried comfrey
  • 375 ml (1½ cup) boiling water
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) witch hazel

Method

  1. Infuse the plants covered in boiling water for 15 minutes. Filter.
  2. Pour the liquid into a bottle and add witch hazel water.
  3. Shake the mixture before using a cotton swab to gently apply on the face.
  4. This lotion keeps for a maximum 10 days in the refrigerator.

3. Healing mask with green clay

This deep cleansing mask helps remove impurities and corrects imperfections. The clay absorbs excess sebum, the melaleuca is antibacterial and parsley brightens the complexion. Oatmeal helps bind the mixture while softening the skin.

Ingredients

  • 15 g (1 tbsp.) green clay
  • 15 g (1 tbsp.) chopped fresh parsley
  • 5 g (1 tsp.) oatmeal
  • 30 g (2 tbsp.) aloe gel
  • 5 drops of tea tree essential oil

Method

  1. Mix clay, parsley, oatmeal and aloe.
  2. Add essential oil to make a paste.
  3. Spread the mask over the face, avoiding the eyes and lips.
  4. Wait 10 minutes before rinsing.

4. Purifying herbal tea

Dandelion is a powerful cleanser and helps rid the body of waste. Red clover and alfalfa are traditional stimulants for digestion and kidneys. Red clover is one of the cleansing herbs. Lotion or herbal tea is effective against acne when used regularly.

Ingredients

  • 10 g (2 tsp.) dried dandelion
  • 5 g (1 tsp.) dried red clover
  • 5 g (1 tsp.) dried alfalfa
  • 5 g (1 tsp.) lemon zest
  • 375 ml (1½ cup) boiling water

Method

  1. Infuse all ingredients in a pot for 15 minutes.
  2. Filter.
  3. Drink two or three cups a day.
