Growing up in Georgetown, Sushi wasn't exactly a mainstay in town. After moving back and finding more than one Sushi place in town, it was clear the town was changing and catching up to the rest of the world. Still...Sushi in Georgetown? I was skeptical... Walking into Yo-Yo's, it was like I had completely stepped out of town into another world. Nothing like I had expected. The service and atmosphere alone make this place worth visiting. Is it the best Sushi I've ever had? No...in fact, the other place in town is actually tastier (and all you can eat), but lacks the same charm that Yo-Yo's has. It's a little pricey, but worth it! And while I say the other place has better tasting sushi (my opinion), that's not to downplay this place...it's still fantastic food! Read more

I had driven by this downtown georgetown pub many times without even noticing it was there, so when a friend suggested we go in for a few beers, I was surprised that I hadn't heard of this place before! The beer list was mostly new to my eyes. They offer a huge selection of local microbreweries, which are surprisingly delicious! We ordered the fish and chips as we sipped on beer that had been brewed no more than 40 km from where we were sitting. The food took a bit of time, but this is definitely no fast food restaurant.... The fish, which we were told was freshly beer battered in the kitchen, was the best we'd ever tried. This would not be my last visit. After coming in for the past year, I've noticed that this pub is at times understaffed, service can be delayed due to volume, but this is also a place to come and take your time. Don't come in expecting to have a quick meal in time to make a movie...This pub was created for people to come in and forget about the hustle bustle of their day to day lives! Read more

We recently had Mark from Dynamic Interiors into our home to paint it from top to bottom. The job started and finished the days promised and our home was left clean at the end of everyday. Mark was knowledgeable about the various products needed in our home and recommended Eco friendly products that had next to no odour in our home. We'd been to Malhotra's before and loved the food, service and atmosphere so we went again with another couple. Each pair of us got a serving of Butter Chicken and one of Bangkok Chicken to share. Next time I'm going to try channa masala and I'm sure my expectations will be far exceeded. The chef and his wife are lovely people, and the chef has always come out to see how we liked are meal. He's a classically french trained chef, so the food has this amazing fusion of Indian and French flavour. Absolutely delicious. They try to tone down the spiciness for first time visitors, so don't forget to tell them if you like your food hot! I don't think you can make reservations and the place is small but we haven't had a problem getting in. I've heard from others though that they lined up on a Friday or Saturday night. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and will definitely be returning. Read more
