Great food; really interesting atmosphere. Spectacular drinks! The seats on the outside patio are tree stumps. There's live music too on some days. The menus come on a vinyl record. I must say the food was great, but what sets this venue apart from others, is quality of customer service we were provided with. I went on Dec. 3rd for their brunch buffet. I had a great experience here for my first time. The food options were decent for a buffet, and it really hit the spot. The service, and atmosphere were great. Friendly, and helpful servers with a clean restaurant. It had a nice family atmosphere with all the Christmas get togethers they had. I go to a lot of brunch places, and in Mississauga there aren't many I'd go to but for a $40 brunch buffet you can't go wrong. Read more

Food: Last week was my first time trying Koganei so I didn't get to try lots of food. However, Koganei roll was one of the best roll I ever had. it's bit pricey for a roll (almost $15 with tax) but it's worth it. I do not know exactly what's in the roll (it's shrimp tempura roll with some little bit spicy orange-red stuff with tiny fish eggs on the top) but it was amazing. (I wish red stuff on the top was more spicier though.) I also tried miso base noodle soup (noodles and veggies in miso soup) which was salty for my taste. did not really like it. Service: wait staffs were nice and helpful. when i went, there weren't many people in the restaurant so i didn't have to wait long to order and get my food. Atmosphere: table setting seemed little weird to me because little table for 2 people were placed right next to booth but decor was good. Read more
