Wow, this is miles better than most sushi places in town, including some that claim to be authentically Japanese and then go on to charge you $25/person for *crunchy* sashimi (yes, you read that right). I'd much gladly spend my money at Sushi 88. Wonderful, creative rolls, good service, most definitely coming back.

Wonderful family owned and operated Burmese restaurant (flavours of Chinese, Indian and Thai food) that serves unbelievably delicious food. Every thing is home made, including the sauces. We highly recommend the vegetarian spring rolls and the chicken, eggplant and squash curries. Curries are served with homemade hot sauce on the side. Other good choices are the green tea leaf and tomato salads. Service is warm and very friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable and the food quality is very high.

Obviously, Chinese food in Ottawa pales in comparison to what Hong Kong offers but Cafe Orient's food is the best I can find that reminds me of home. I am a huge fan of Asian food, but unfortunately had nowhere to go for good Korean food since moving to Ottawa, until I found Koreana that is.
Koreana is a low key gem tucked away on Somerset. The staff is always super friendly and service is very quick. Tea along with complimentary appetizers are brought within a couple minutes.
On to the food. I absolutely love the bulgogi which is at least as good if not better than most of the competition in in Toronto. It's always sizzling hot and if you don't put a napkin on your lap you are bound to have some crackling oil drops land there. The meat is very well marinated and tender, and the portions are very big. The various stews are likewise very good, my favorite is the pork stew.
They also service sushi but I have never had to chance to try it. The bulgogi is just too hard to pass up.
As with most Korean restaurants, your order is accompanied by complimentary side dishes like kimchi and seaweed. All are very good except the occasional broccoli salad which I'm not a fan of.
Koreana has now become one of my monthly haunts. Highly recommended.

I've been going to Yangtze for years. It's definitely the best Chinese food you're going to have.
Their "midnight snack" menu is excellent, but I usually end up ordering dim sum a la carte due to how much I like it.
Definitely recommend you try this one out.

haven't been to the Mekong in a while, but decided to try it again the other night, service was very good, our waitress was very attentive and our orders ariived in a timely manner. We ordered a couple of appetizer, they wer ok, nothing special. The prawns in chili tomato sauce were exceptional, cooked to perfection. normally we don't come into the city for chinese food, but i will definitley return.

I've been eating here off and on for about twenty years and the food is consistently excellent.
My one complaint (perhaps more of an observance, really) relates to how noisy it can get with a full house. Once upon a time, they used to have a carpeted dining room but changed it to tile about ten years ago. Needless to say, sounds are no longer muffled.

This place is a nice place to have a quick meal and be satisfied with it. I've been to this place many times and I must say that it hasn't disappointed me yet. The portions are huge which would definitely make you full once you walk out that door. It's also an inexpensive place to hang out and eat with friends on a late night or cold day.
The broth is really good, but it's usually a hit or miss. Sometimes it would have too much MSG but sometimes it would be a nice way to finish your noodles.
