After a relaxing visit from the spa downtown, my boyfriend took me here for dinner. It was a perfect end to a perfect day. We were greeted and served by an all-Japanese staff (family run business) in a somewhat shabby looking establishment with homemade fish advertisment signs galore. We ordered the 10 piece nigiri set and were astounded by the high quality of each piece. My boyfriend loved the uni especially. We also ordered soft shell crab roll (dynamite!!), hamachi roll and temaki. High quality green tea too. We finished with mochi ice-cream. The place was packed with all Chinese people and I could hear one older couple speaking in Japanese. I did feel badly for the lone Japanese man who ate a large meal to himself and got snickered and talked about by the waitresses and large party guests. Perhaps the waitresses were doing it in a friendly manner as it seemed he was a regular face to them--but still, it caused enough attention from other guests who started laughing too. Unprofessional to me, but the food will keep us coming back for more. Read more

This is my regular takeaway pizza joint - really tasty pizza, generous toppings and interesting flavours. In a world filled with bad chain pizza places, it is refreshing to have a small ON owned chain restaurant (I believe they have a couple of other locations in woodbridge) that serves good pizza - no more pan fried greasy poor quality pizza for me. I once took a couple of pounds of BBQ pork to a small birthday party, and it was all gone by the time my spouse parked the car. This restaurant provides excellent food at reasonable prices if you order the dinner for 4, or 6, or however many there are in your party. The menu is fixed, but flexible in the choice of appetizers. The meal begins with broth, and appetizers but ends up with so many different dishes that the table groans. The food is fresh and dellcious homestyle Cantonese cooking. I had reservations about going to another Wimpy's, after having such a disastrous experience at the one in my town. The boyfriend however had eaten here many times, and told me that he'd really enjoyed it, and we needed a place we could take his year old son and all of us be comfortable.
