I was not expecting anything special when my wife and I went in here for a later evening meal, however I was so suprised to get an amazing Laksa prepared so good and not too much coconut milk, as most Malay/Singaporean places overload. It has just the right chilli seasoning, two types of noodles, mixture of shrimp, chicken and veggies. The only thing missing was an egg. Overall was very impressed!!!
My wife who is HK Cantonese had a pork chop Canton style, which she enjoyed.

I remember coming here in the early 1990s and loved it then. It still has one of the best burgers in town, especially the homemade burger. They serve beer and have a TV as well. Excellent meal.
Service was great - waitress was fun and checked on us every so often to see how we were doing.
Food? Delicious! My burger was great, and the rest of my family thought good of the restaurant as well.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The old-fashioned chalkboard written deals and combos scattered across the restaurant felt like good-old home.
I tell you all, this is my new FAVORITE place to eat. I had a bite of chicken fingers, too -- HeAvEnLy!
If you decide to dine here, you won't be disappointed, I guarantee it!
Let me tell you something, I don't hand out 5 stars like candy, but this place really deserves it. Well done, Gabby's!

Buy lunch here after doctors appointments and the chicken pot pie is the best I've ever had. Meat just falls apart it's so tender and sauce, pastry and vegetables are wonderful. Very friendly environment, superbly clean, and high quality and delicious food
I visited this restaurant several times during my two short visits to Toronto in 2017, since I had heard many positive comments about it. The chef and the staff care about every aspect of the restaurant, not just the food.
