I have been to this location before and have always been somewhat satisfied, decent food/service..but today was completely different.The young man working the dinner hour shift named Alex was absolutely incredible....came around and asked if we were all happy with our food, asked everyone, then came over and started CLEANING tables for customers, putting trays in garbage etc.I have NEVER seen that in a fast food joint(young lady helped too!!) My girlfriend and I went up to tobermory ontario a few weeks ago. I have never had such amazing customer service in my entire life. Our server was super kind, funny and made lots of jokes to keep us entertained through our meal. I had reservations about going to another Wimpy's, after having such a disastrous experience at the one in my town. The boyfriend however had eaten here many times, and told me that he'd really enjoyed it, and we needed a place we could take his year old son and all of us be comfortable. I was quite happy with my experience at this Wimpy's. The food was good, portions huge, service prompt (though she was carrying on a conversation with the family at the table beside us every time she came to our table). No complaints really. Read more

Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did. Well, here's a place that does a great fish and chips even though it's not their specialty, the kind of place I have been searching for since, well, a long time ago. The chips are excellent too, definitely cut and fried on the premises, no frozen stuff here. The waitress was quick to warn us that due to a large private function upstairs the service was going to be a bit slow, she was correct but we won't hold that against them.
