As you wander along Robson Street this is a popular Japanese restaurant that has been here for awhile. Reservations highly recommended. The assorted tempera was excellent, nicely battered, and we tried various appetizers such as gomae, liver, fried fish, clam soup, edaname, tofu, Saba shiroyaki, salmon belly. We ordered various sushi which was lovely plated and tasted pretty good and fresh. Also, Negitoro roll, and a few nigiri items. The service was excellent. Read more

I had been recommended to go to Stephos for the longest time and each time we tried having food the line up was long so we decided to go back later. A friend of mine recommended me to go between 1-5pm so I didn’t have to wait in the line up. I must say that I had never had such great service and delicious Souvlaki in Vancouver. We tried the Lamp Chops, the Calamari Dinner, Humus and the Lamp Souvlaki amongst the 4 of us. The price is great and the food really fantastic. The restaurant was near the hotel, and a friend of mine recommended us to go, so we did. First, we were a big party, but we didn't had to wait for a table. Service wasn't bad, but there are things that i would change, the waitress refilled every drink when she wanted without asking and without saying that the refill wasn't free. Over to the food, it was well cooked, as ordered, tasty and it was worth the price, the amounts where for grown up adults, not for kids like in most places.
