I have been living here for just a month and really wanted to see what Guelph had to offer with japanese cuisine! Many of my friends suggested that I try w sushi so I decided to go with one of my girlfriends that was a returning customer. We arrived for dinner and was greeted with the most kind and helpful waitress ever, we were seated and brought drinks. Our waitress was very helpful, her English was okay, but there was a server there who had perfect English so communication was not a problem. The place was pretty full and busy but not with large groups so the place wasnt loud. The food was very good and the rice was warm and moist, which means they just cooked it. I had a lot to eat and would definitely recommend their sweet shrimp banana roll and the guelph roll, they were both fabulous! The food always seems to be good in my experience here. I typically order pulled pork poutine (very good, unique), burgers, wraps, etc. I've never been disappointed during my somewhat extended history of visiting the pub. The decor is very busy, typical of brit pubs here, and the service is friendly and timely, not overbearing. Food waiting times are suitable and I've never heard anyone in my party of regulars complain of flat beer, dirty glasses, or hair in their food, as other reviews here indicate. They do have a patio, albeit small and fills up fairly quickly during lunch hour or immediately after work. Read more

Wild Wings serve up some of the most unique wings . The wings were quite delicious, there were MANY flavours to choose from. Very unique flavours such as Thai and Raspberry and Pineapple curry! However, they tasted quite ordinary, there wasn't a WOW factor. The service was great, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere was very fun. I enjoyed working at this location for several hours. No one harrassed me about using the table for so long and the food was tasty and healthy so I didn't feel like I'd overindulged. That is, until a young Williams representative approached me and gave me a free Belgian Waffle slathered in ice cream. We stopped in on Friday night to grab a coffee and decided to have a piece of cake. Although the cakes are not made there they are absolutely to die for. I got the white hot chocolate which was amazing, although you did have to stir it fairly often to keep the hot chocolate mix from settling out of it. There is a ton of interesting art work on the walls and the music is great, I would definitely recommend this place. Read more

I've been here twice already. I ordered the Wimpy's combo (hamburger) and the Chicken BLT sandwich. Great portion for the price. The hamburger was decent, juicy and fresh off the grill. Fries weren't that great. They tasted stale and very "saw dusty". Their Chicken BLT was terrible. the chicken was dry and tasteless. The bacon that was in my sandwich were overcooked. It had a "paper" texture to it. It took some manpower to actually chew this sandwich down. I might come back in the future since it's on the way home for me from work but it's definitely not the greatest. Read more
