It must be Brampton's best kept restaurant secret. I didn't know La Capannina was open for lunch on weekdays and over the years I was repeatedly told they weren't. Upon discovering this we returned to enjoy an unhurried lunch built around their appetizers. I won't bore you with the details other than to say everything was perfectly executed. Chef Massimo is a perfectionist and sources only the freshest ingredients. A bonus, our waiter was relaxed and throughly professional. If you need a quiet place for a superior mid-day meal, I haven't found a better location in the area. Read more

I can't say enough about this place! I have been going since 1998! So a well established place. I go for lunch hot plate. You can choose several items from: peppers, pasta, chicken, sausage, broccoli, potato, bread. Where else can you get a full, healthy delicious, hot meal for $8.00. I haven't been there for supper and I don't think they offer the hot plate on weekends or supper. It is in a business park so they really cater to the weekday lunch. Read more
