Service was pretty good considering we were eating in an asian establishment. Tea was topped up, food was replenished quickly, and the side dishes kept coming. I didn't use their washroom but the location is accessible by TTC or Car. Nice spacious dining area and it was clean. I liked how food was coming non-stop. We had so much food that night - great bang for our buck. Although the taste of the food was a little bland (compared to other Korean BBQ places), the side dishes made up for it. We've had excellent experiences with the food both times we have had it. Once was take-out and last night we dined in! This type of food is relatively new to me, but it's definitely something that my wife and I have enjoyed discovering! The service was a bit on the slow side but then again, we were surprised with how busy the place was on a Sunday night! That must say something about how good the food is! Once we got our food, we enjoyed it thoroughly. The inside was much nicer than I expected looking from the outside and the portions were large enough that my wife and I both had leftovers for lunch! Was highly recommended by a friend of mine whose family are regulars at Kimling. She catered from Kimling for her son's first birthday party and I was instantly addicted to Kimling's food when I had it at the party. I went last friday with a group of 8 to satisfy my cravings. My friend told me to look for Suzie who is the owner. She is such a friendly lady and made us feel welcomed. She also suggested all the dishes we ordered. They were all delicious. My kids made me order the appetizer called Pepper Chicken thrice because they really enjoyed it! I even ordered the Pepper Chicken, Hakka Noodles and Hot Garlic Chicken to go because they were so good. I will definitely be back and will recommend more friends and family to this little gem in Scarborough. Read more

Extra spicy chili beef was orderd;however, previously ( a few days ago); just the chili beef (with the regular amount of spice was ordered). The extra spicy chili beef was Extremely good! It had the most pleasant flavour, and it was fresh, unlike other places from which I have ordered Hakka Chinese food. The service was fast, and I was satisfied with the meal. The servers were friendly (which always helps). An order of fried Sankee fried rice was also ordered; which consisted of beef/chicken/shrimp. (this too was VERY FRESH, one of the best fried rice dishes that I have tasted by far! A serving of spicy wings was also ordered ,and this too was quite tasty, and of course once again, FRESH! This restaurant does not serve any PORK dishes, so this was a bonus! As for the Spring Rolls, they were filled with stuffing accordingly, and they too were once again fresh, as well as the Egg Rolls which had a very pleasant crisp to them! (they sell at very good prices also)! In essence, SANKEE RESTAURANT HAS THE BEST INDIAN HAKKA STYLE CHINESE FOOD IN TORONTO AMONGST ALL THE ONES FROM WHICH I HAVE VISITED! (I highly encourage everyone who enjoys trying different types of food, to try Sankee Restaurant. You will not be sorry that you did! Bon Appetite Read more
