I needed to re-do my kitchen in my lovely semi-attached house. First thing I did I went to big brands for Home Improvement and particularly I was looking for granite and marble stone for my cabinet and some kind of stone or ceramic for my flooring as it is really easy to clean specially in our kitchen and toilet. Guess what? The price and estimation was going through roof! This was only if I was opting for lowest degree stone and material which was not exactly what I wanted. Yes the showroom was phenomenal, the range of stones was great, their website was excellent and you get indulged with all the colors and options, but it cost an arm and a leg. So I asked for some advice from our close friends, then they introduced me For Stone. Oh my God unbelievable prices and great quality and service, excellent payment terms and I am flying and flattered and with their job. The business owner is a very gentleman Canadian (originally from Iran) and on the top of his job and they are really professional. I do want to recommend them. I hope you get the same VIP service and special offer I got. And last but not least, remember that big brand I told you half of my review ... they get the job from you and give For Stone to execute it!!!!! You do the calculation of the commission you give to the BIG BRAND. Read more

We were very surprised about how easy Baljit and his team made this process for us. He came to our house twice to get to know us and what we were looking for and a second time to take measurements and make suggestions. We visited him once to see his amazing showroom and to choose accessories, finishes/colors and countertop. He is very accommodating and helpful and great to deal with. His team / installers are fast, friendly and clean! Great Employees! Such a great experience! Read more

Kitchen cabinets in Humber College - North Campus Toronto ON

The heart of every home is its kitchen – so what better way to show it off than with sturdy and beautiful kitchen cabinets? Faced with a plethora of kitchen cabinet design options ranging from French country to ultra Soho modern, going out to buy kitchen cabinets can seem more like dealing with a difficult life challenge (especially when trying to match your kitchen furniture) than with a fun decorating decision.

Tips to buying kitchen cabinets in Humber College - North Campus Toronto ON

  • Plan your budget: When browsing in your favourite home improvement store, keep in mind that kitchen cabinets can take up to 50 per cent of your building or renovation budget. Things to consider when shopping for kitchen cabinets are drawer size, construction, wood type and the finish. As a general rule, the strongest part of the kitchen cabinet should be its box – the rest is decorative.
  • Know what you’re getting: There are three types of the kitchen cabinets available in the market; Stock (kitchen cabinets you typically find in home improvement stores), semi-stock (odd size custom kitchen cabinets like racks or pantries that blend in with your current set) and custom kitchen cabinets (in any style or any finish for when a budget isn’t an issue).
  • The best value: The best prices for stock kitchen cabinets come during seasonal discount sales at home improvement stores. When it comes to semi-stock and custom kitchen cabinets, keep in mind that the thicker the plywood the longer the cabinet will last. Ask your retailer or cabinet maker in Humber College - North Campus Toronto ON if the kitchen cabinets you are getting are certified by a known association to withstand normal kitchen wear and tear.
  • Get the proper tools: Make sure you have a repair kit when you get new kitchen cabinets from a retailer or a kitchen cabinet maker. Coloured wax or putty helps to cover set nails. A few extra hinges and drawer-slide systems usually tend to wear out first and easily – get a few extra pieces so you can replace them.
