I love the new decor! My husband and I shared the Warm Salad special, which was fantastic. I had the Duo of Duck and my husband tried the special which was Beef Cheek. Both were really, really good. Have been a regular at Ami for a couple years now and let me tell you they have yet to let me down. We usually order nigiri sushi and rolls. The nigiri is the best you will find in Oakville hands down. The piece of fish you get is twice the size of the rice making it a very generous portion. I have eaten at at least 10 other sushi joints in town and prefer Ami nigiri any day. The staff is amazing and they even deliver. I have been meaning to write a review since November. I hadn’t been to Julia’s in a while and my husband and I were looking for a restaurant to take some friends from Toronto. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical and thought perhaps something had changed since we last there. We decided to take out friends there anyway (on Saturday November 20) and couldn’t have had a more pleasant dining experience. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very good. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and I went back there for New Years and had another evening of wonderful food and a cozy table. Every time I have been to this restaurant I have had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend Julia’s to others. Read more

They are quick to book you, fast to serve you they took the best care of my pup. He recovered so quickly after his was fixed. His incision site was pristine. This veterinary clinic is by far the best one we've been to in Oakville. We used to go to another clinic on Upper Middle and switched when our original vet left because we found the replacement vet was trying to push products and procedures on us. This clinic is very honest and the prices are reasonable. The vets are absolutely amazing and you can tell how much they care about the animals they look after. They also don't force anything upon you and tell you when something is only suggested, instead of saying its mandatory. They help you find the most affordable ways to treat your animal and are very accommodating. Dr. Haines is the vet we usually see and not enough good can be said of her. HIGHLY recommend this clinic! Sheddon is am amazing clinic! I have been visiting Sheddon since March this year with a herniated L5-S1 disc. A herniated disc is debilitating, and I am only 31 years old and shouldn't be having these issues! Jason, Dana and all the wonderful people there got me from immobile to almost back to pre-injury. My flexion has almost returned to pre-inury, and I am NO LONGER in discomfort with every waking move I make. The folks at Sheddon treat you like their family and always do their best to make sure you are seen when you need to treated - they go above and beyond!
