We frequent this little piece of culture in downtown Belleville as often as we can. The lunch menu is incredible. Where else can you get delicious sandwich/quiche/salad with soup for $10? The bread is organic and baked fresh on the premises. The service is friendly and when you ask about the food they can always tell you what you want to know. The atmosphere is lovely and when the kitchen is open like it is there is nothing to hide. The bistro is impeccably clean and it is obvious that the chef/owner takes great pride in his business. We have eaten every sandwich, quiche, and meat pie on the menu as well as every soup and salad. We are never disappointed. For dinner you have to try the chef's table that takes place twice per month. An opportunity to sit with 12 other people to enjoy the surprise chef's choice menu of starter, main, and dessert. Incredible. If you haven't gone to L'Auberge de France then make a point of going. And don't miss the fresh croissants on Saturday mornings.

Sushi is better than any I've had in any big city, but what really sets this place apart is the service, the service is outstanding. Their main waitress is amazing, not sure of her name (she has been there for years) but she is so courteous, the owners are lucky to have her.

Can't say enough about this place. My wife and I discovered E&A's 2 years ago and go back at least once a month. I read some negative comments on this page and frankly, I think that these were written by E&A's competition because for the most part the comments were complete rubbish. We have never had a bad experience there, and the food and service has been cosistently top notch. They have the best seafood platter we have ever enjoyed . Their meals although pricey are filling and delicious. It can be cold if you sit in the front in the winter though. If you sit at the chef's table you can watch your meal being prepared. Someone commented that the steaks are pre-cooked and warmed up?? I have watched my raw steak cooked to perfection in frontt of my own eyes so I don't know were that comment came from. We highly recommend E&A's and as a matter of fact, we are going there tonight again!
P.S. They make the best Ceaser I have ever had too.

On the main floor the lounge and bar has been redesigned complete with fireplace, lounge chairs and new updated televisions. The lounge has had many new daily food and beverage specials added also ! Deals that cannot be beat ! Every Tuesday at 7pm they have hosted Trivia ! Great turnouts and worth the visit ! Saturday Matinees with both single and duo blues and/or jazz band from 1 to 4pm create a great afternoon event to get out of the house and beat the winter blues!!! They have added so many different dinning room features and added many different food menu item specials that are worth checking out ! They have great friendly staff and food is very good ! The old Winchester was run down,,it is great to see that the ownership made all of these great changes ! It's a busy pub with lots of atmosphere ! REALLY WORTH CHECKING IT OUT ! They now have a great website and are linked to facebook so now we are constantly able to be updated on current upcoming events ! Great job !! It was time for a change !!!! It has happened and I am sure you will be as pleased as I was to see all of the great changes !! They have brought back all of the British beers... Guinness Smithwicks Harp etc !!
