Great place for guys or girls. They seem up to date on all hair styles and they attempt to teach you how to duplicate what they did so you can do it yourself. So far always a great haircut. At first I thought this was just a womans hair salon but I found out that each hairdresser is required to take courses to improve their craft and some of those courses are in mens cuts and styles. You seriously can’t go wrong paying a visit to Bicycles Plus. The staff are all polite and beyond friendly, and they treat everyone the same. I’ve only ever dealt with the parts/service side, never bought a bike from them, but both “camps” know their stuff very, very well. The one mechanic, I think his name is Nigel, he can diagnose a bike from 40’ away blindfolded. Great prices too, bought brake pads recently, they were half the price per set (front/back) compared to Canadian Tire. Read more

If you are looking for a spot to hang with your friends and watch the game then you definitely need to hit up Whitby St.Louis. They pride themselves on their staff as well as ensuring that any major game that is playing is on every TV. This means hockey, baseball, football, UFC, golf- you name it they have it. Oh and the wings, fries and garlic dip is delicious. My personal favorite is the Hot n Honey wing sauce or the Suicide wing sauce. I would suggest going on Tuesday for wing night, or on Thurs or Fri which is their busiest nights. They have a huge regular following from 3pm to 5:30pm so if you are looking for some company at the bar, this is the time to go! Read more
