I visited Swiss Chalet with low expectations. My four year old son was excited about the toys they offered so we went for a quick dinner. I was pleasently surprised. We sat with a young waitress who I unfortunatly also held low expectations for. At such a young age I doubted that she knew much...however she provided us with better service than we had recieved in a chain..maybe ever. She brought our meals promptly, was attentive, we didnt need to ask for refills, and when my son spilt on himself, she cleaned it all up and even stopped his crying. The food wasn't great, but as long as you have service like that, I would be back anytime. Read more

Was at Blue Mountain over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend and came across this place. Had read a couple reviews online and was apprehensive of the place but some friends said to try it myself, so I did. The service was great and the food was better than most in the Village at Blue Mountain. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, everyone was very helpful and the prices were reasonable, given the resort environment. I wouldn't hesitate to return and/or tell my friends to check the place out. We went back later in the evening and had a great time dancing and kicking back, as well... Great place all around. I have lived in the New Tecumseth area for the last 35yrs. These guys have by far the best pizza in the area and they even deliver still to me over in Loretto. Even their wings are good and be sure to get the garlic dip for the pizza. I am very picky and 99% of the time they nail my request and if they don't they make it up somehow. The only thing negative I can say is that sometimes they are a little cheap on the topping volume. Read more

Today was the first day I had been there in years, and things have changed... For the better :) I took my children there so they could see the streetcar like I did when I was younger. All of the staff was warm and welcoming, the streetcar was closed when I arrived but they overheard my childrens disappointment and opened the doors just for us. We were served promptly, and our food was ready in no time. Which I know for me is important when you take out your kids cause they can be soo impatient. My burger was cooked just the way I like it and my cheese was actually melted on which doesn't always happen in the fast food business. The onion rings were a little different than what I remember but they had a good combination of a crisp outside and a soft batter inside. My kids had more of my shake then I did but they seemed to love it lol. I will deffinately be goin back this summer on my way tothe cottage, it's so worth waiting for. Oh. Before I forget, parents be warned they don't have kids burgers, only nuggets which I thought were actually a great portion size. Oh and they're a cash only business they have an ATM, the only annoying thing about stopping in was the people in front of me in line didn't see the signs that clearly say cash only and held every one up.
