The roti here is spectacular. They have goat, beef, chicken, veggie, etc.. Just enough heat in the curry, great potatoes, huge portions. So much flavor. It is the best roti I've had, period. The jerk chicken dinner is also very good. That being said, I have heard some horror stories about the cleanliness of this place. I love that the owner has decorated the place to make it seem like a cultural oasis in an extremely white city, but it just NEEDS TO BE CLEANER. I don't want it yuppiefied. So, stick to food that has high turnover, like the roti. The uniqueness and quality of the take out at a place like this is something that I would actually miss if I moved away from peterborough. That is saying something. The food is the only reason it is worth risking eating at a place that looks like it could not pass a health inspection. Read more

Their rolls are nothing short of spectacular. The tiger roll and crispy roll are two of my favourites. The presentation of the rolls is always great, and how do you beat sauce that's deep fried? They also serve some korean dishes, and we had their bul-go-gi. I found it to be really good! The place seems to be run by Korean people, so maybe that's why. Service was exceptional. You can choose to sit at tables or in private rooms. The waitresses don't speak perfect English, but they're very friendly, polite, and helpful. I've had an incredibly pleasant experience every time just being in this quiet and calm restaurant (although every once in a while it's absolutely full with a lunch crowd!) I like the sushi, salmon nigiri in particular, and their uni is very very good. They don't carry toro at all, by choice. Squid, scallop, hamachi, all great. Rolls are very lovely presented.
