I made reservations and went to the restaurant at the end of May for my 18th birthday party. It looked very elegant fom the mall entrance. The ambience was very modern and cozy, though it was slightly noisy at times. Service was prompt and attentive with our orders and the manager even came and brought me a piece of chocolate cake with "Happy Birthday" written in icing on the plate. Everyone unanimously agreed that the food was great. We shared a group veggie, chips, and dip platter and I had the steak well done. It was cooked to perfection and was artfully arranged with savory garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. The cake I received was delicious, as was the sorbet a friend let me try. Overall, the evening went perfectly and the meal was easy on the wallet since none of us drank any alcohol. I would definitely come back here or to another Oliver & Bonacini managed etablishment. What a treat we had in Port Perry after a couple of hours out on the water. The main dining room was full so we were shown a table in a private room which we had all to ourselves. Both the service and the food was excellent. The owner, Christie, was friendly and down to earth making us feel very welcome. A couple of us had food restrictions which were easily accommodated. The decor was delightful and vibrant, with unique artwork covering the walls. We were pleasantly greeted by our server who encouraged us to sit wherever we pleased. The menu was fun and fresh and we found it extremely difficult to have to choose from all the delicious items. Our lunch arrived very quickly, and we were more and more pleased with every bite. We were heading to Lindsay last night for the Haunted House and wanted to go out for dinner first. Looked online and found the Olympia. Decided to give it a try. We were very impressed! The food was excellent, portion sizing perfect and the service was great! We would definitely go back there if in the area again. Only drawback was we were seated by the front door and it was chilly whenever the door opened and closed. So it would have been nicer to seat in a booth but the place was very busy when we arrived. The deserts are a little expensive but worth the splurge for a treat that will make you gld you did. Toppings are included with snadwich selections like pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, onions (real fine slices) etc.. This woman knows and understands how to make a gluten free sandwich this will delight any celiac or wheat avoider person. Always a smile and good friendly humour along with such a quaint atmosphere generated in this cozy place. Too bad supper isn't available as I would definitely impress guests visiting from the big cities, here. Coffee? All the fancy varieties in a huge mug! They all agreed with me that it was a great atmosphere with a delicious menu. The prices are reasonable and fair due to the great quality of the food.
