Melissa Dadilla was in her early 20's when she began to discover different cultures around the world. "I discovered small pearls of traditional wisdom contained in each of these cultures we know so little about here in the West. I was very interested, so I pushed my skills further and I finally fell on the Vedas, the ancient books of India," says Melissa. "I've always had a great interest in well-being, so what is taught in these books really resonated with me. I started to gravitate towards yoga, dance and activities that created well-being within me, a balance that I was not reaching before."
For the beauty-industry professional that Melissa was at the time, this was a true revelation and allowed her to discover a balance between external and internal beauty. It was at this time that she became more interested in ways to align her lifestyle with nature and to live a more authentic life. "It's a beautiful way of living and I decided to continue my studies in this field in order to one day start a business to help others to live this way," Melissa said. And that's what propelled her to open Ayurveda Beisha in 2013.
