The dealership kept putting off a repair that was part of our condition of sale (+6 months), by claiming it would be fixed at our next service. When we booked this as separate appointment, they failed to provide the rental car promised to us (forcing us to miss work and scramble to find our own rental when all agencies were fully booked). To top it all off, once the repair was done, the car was returned with literally no gas.
Whitby Subaru has no concept of integrity or customer service.
I bought a 2012 Impreza 5 dr sport with CVT. C&C has recognized it has a fuel efficiency problem on numerous occasions. I consistently get 200-300 kms less per tank of gas then other customers with the same vehicle which costs my family an extra $150 a mos in gas money. This vehicle now has over 8000 kms on it and has been nothing but a major inconvenience! They apparently do not stand behind there products and have hung me out to dry. Subaru Canada, based on some unscientific fuel test possibly administered by a non mechanic says my car is ok, so now C&C has adopted the same position. Perhaps they would be so kind as to ante up with the extra $150 a month! They also installed a $1500 after market nav/stereo system which operates at about the same as the fuel efficiency of the Impreza! They cannot fix it,but are not willing to remove it and give me my money back. We have owned a top of the line loaded Subaru Tribeca for 5 yrs and have nothing but praise for the vehicle. All of our service on this vehicle has been done by C&C and we have never had any complaints. Their treatment of us concerning the new Subaru purchase is mind boggling. I rate them #1 in customer frustration, guaranteed to make you bang your head of a wall!
