Love this place. My partner and I come to this place often. In a number of years we have never had an issue with service nor food quality. As long as anybody who goes to restaurants is not stuffy and picky and judgmental, they will adore this lovely little restaurant on the Danforth. 2 thumbs up!
Never again!
I live in the area and am always amazed at how many people seem to love this place. I personally had the worst brunch ever there- the service was awful and it took about an hour to get our food. When it finally did come it was cold and there was a big piece of egg shell in my Eggs Benny- ick! And they really didn't seem to care and didn't offer to take any money off the cheque. I vowed to never return again!
The brunch was not offensive, but neither was it exciting. Everything was done like it came out of a standard coprorate brunch cookbook with no hint of individuality in the dish. I mean, yes, two egg on English muffin with hollandaise and protein on top with home fries and salad is a very common combo in this town. But some places put some effort into making the elements stand out, maybe a tasty vinaigrette or some special care with the potatoes. Sarah's did not.
This is a very good place if you like beer, however.
