TERRIBLE STORE! AVOID SHOPPING HERE.

Do not go there for mechanical work for your vehicle. I scheduled to have my winter tires changed and they said they did not have me on schedule. There was only ONE person working on all vehicles during a busy season and they had me wait 3.5 hours. I made a complaint to the head office and manager who did give me a $50 visa card but my time was wasted and I was upset at the lack of professionalism overall.

Had a water pump installed and in the installation process they cracked the lower rad hose. The cooling system was not pressure tested nor checked for leaks. After 1/2 hour of driving the hose let go and left me stranded on the side of the highway for 2 hours. The car was towed back to Canadian Tire where they seemed unmoved by the problem. They then took two days to obtain the common hose and then another to install it. They then asked me to pay for the repair to the part that they compromised.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I bought new tires and figured I could atleast trust them to install them, it is in their name after all. BIG MISTAKE! After 5 hours I went to see my truck. The weights for balancing had been installed on one of the tires incorrectly. (Stacked the height you can see through the spoke.) Others were peeling off. The areas that were obvious he had misplaced the weights, had glue and foam all over the rims. Apparently they cant clean or fix their mistakes properly. It was obvious there was no care or pride taken either. When I brought the mechanic and shop manager out to look their response was "what can we do about it" even though they clearly saw the hack job infront of them. I finally went to a store manager who could only tell them to try and make it better. What a joke. With no compensation I took my truck to get properly fixed elsewhere. Not to mention i found scuffs all over my rims. A bunch of monkeys could do a better job. They have no respect or care for their customers and they are just plain bad at their job. Steer clear of this Canadian Tire, you have been warned!
