Shawne sings in Canada, U.S. and Europe. Resident soprano with fusion company Ooh Lah Lah Opera, Shawne created roles for topical shows and children's operas. She has guested with Opera Lyra Ottawa, Ottawa Pocket Opera, Opera in Piazza, Ottawa Savoy Society, Opera Breva, Théâtre Lyrique de Hull, Brahms Choir, Carleton University Choir and Blackburn Chorus.

Shawne specializes in light coloratura repertoire and interprets Art Song with sensitivity. She has starred in over a dozen operettas by Offenbach, Sullivan, Lehar, J. Strauss, and Le Coq. Sacred performances include standard works by Schubert, Vivaldi, Haydn, Handel, Mozart and Rutter. She recently added the Fauré Requiem (Choeur Classique de l'Outaouais) and the Rutter Magnificat (Carleton University Choir). Shawne has appeared with the National Art Centre Orchestra, The Gatineau Symphony, Virtuosi Orchestra, Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic, Karlovy Vary Orchestra, Thirteen Strings and Ottawa Chamber Orchestra.
