I STRONGLY encourage people to stay AWAY from this company. They will hike up prices by $700, charge hidden fees, use dishonest weights, and they will keep your belongings hostage to coerce you into paying more.

Moved from BC to Ontario. Our dealings were with Nelly (apparently the GM, but cant quite wrap my head around how they let her run the show). Delayed deliver from what Nelly led us to believe, lack of phone call communication, and lost an item with ZERO compensation or attempt to find it. Do yourself a favour, and move on to the next potential trial moving company on your list. Unprofessional and deceitful service.

Would give 0 if I could. Deceitful when giving original quote and before taking $200 deposit. Make you believe charges (listed as $0.55/pound) are based on actual weight but weight listed per item is subjective and GM allots whatever weight they want per item (even if you weigh yourself). No scale ticket provided if under the quote, which very convenient for Alliance Van Lines so that the customer does not see how much they over charge. Staff are nice until they get their deposit, then rude.

Alliance Van Lines was an absolute pleasure from the office staff to the gentleman who arrive to carefully pack and load my belongings. They eliminated all stress involved with my move and I would not hesitate to use their services in the future or recommend this outstanding company to others. Outstanding!

I had a great experience with Alliance Van Lines. I was moving a smaller ammount furniture that I had inherited from Alberta to Ontario and they took care of me through ever step. They were efficient, kind, organized and everything arrived in a timely matter and without a scratch or dent. The movers themselves were great as well. I would advise to do your best at wrapping your own furniture so that it can handle a long haul, I think that really made the difference and helped keep costs down.

A Horrible experience. This company damaged over $5000 worth of our furniture and offered $75 in reimbursement. Even this we do not have additional coverage this is not a a fair settlement towards the customer because even a minimum level of quality was not provided. They also delivered boxes that belong to someone else and id not schedule a pick up for those.

The worst companies across Canada my furniture was wreck my box was half distroy the communication with Michael was impossible they don't return your call it took 40 days before I received my stock they pick up my stock on November 28 and I had the delivery on January 5 I took many pictures of each damages items was but what I didn't know was when they pick up my stock they wrote on inventory sheet number 3,6 19 it s mean my stock was chipped scratched and marked on stuff was brand new

Do not hire. Horrible customer service. Many belongings damaged. Charged double the amount quoted

This company under quotes and I don't recommend them based on general customer service. We had a misunderstanding on pick up dates and our sales rep was unwilling to understand/see his role in the misunderstanding. We were also "over" charged because this company uses the tactic of under quoting to get you to sign then then slams you with an invoice more than double your original quote.

1. Extensive damage to furniture and home 2. Extremely rude customer service 3. Overpriced with no verification of actual weight (well in excess of 50% of quoted independent estimates) 4. Movers did not care about valuables. Fragile items treated the same as others. 5. I do not wish this experience on anyone else. There are plenty of other providers.

Don't hire them!

You will end up paying over twice what you should pay for a move between provinces. After you are tied into a moving contract, they will add a minimum weight charge that is much higher than the actual weight of your goods. They also refuse to tell you the actual weight and refuse a re-weigh on a public scale. Beware as this is not a reliable company. Edit: furniture arrived damaged with large gouges in the wood & permanent marker on all of them that will not come off. Driver very rude to mom.

I booked my cross country move with Alliance Van Lines. I have moved a lot over the past several years with my job and this company was amazing. My sales representative Ivy was incredible. I had a lot of questions and she was happy to answer all quickly. I was really impressed! My shipment arrived in great condition and the men were great at both end. I couldn’t ask for a better move. I will definitely use them again which I’m sure will be sooner than later.
