Avoid any dr who does not spend time discussing your history or who recommends gum surgery before trying deep cleaning and scaling. I was gullible in believing I had no other less drastic options. 2 other more ethical periodontists have since let me know. This dr. also gave me pain meds dangerous for someone w/high bP which I have. Advised me to do surgery on other side of my mouth which I am told would have compromised a tooth that was root canaled but not healing. Many problems b/c of this dr.
