Eccles does a great job - they are reliable and trustworthy! I recommend them highly!
Coming back home to Dundas has brought many joys that belong only to a small town. The personal attention, friendly first-name rapport and honest service I’ve experienced at Eccles is among them. I’ve brought my vehicle to you three times since moving back to Dundas. The total cost has been less than any single visit to the dealership I used to take the vehicle to in Toronto. I’m delighted to be one of your clients! I don't hesitate recommending to friends.

Thank you for the kind words we appreciate it.
I used to bring my now "deceased" car to Eccles years ago but was a little disappointed every time I did. I felt like they did not listen to my genuine concerns and always ended up doing things I did not ask for, telling me I needed new tires (I got several other opinions, all stating my tires were fine for another few seasons) etc. They have made me a little nervous of taking my car in.

I am certain we did not perform any unauthorized repairs or service Tires are inspected for more than just tread depth industry standards suggest any tire over 6 years old is considered to be potentially dangerous.I am sorry I don't know who you are but I am sure discussing these concerns directly with us would have resolved the matter. Here is our mission statement we take very seriously: * Conduct ourselves at all times with honesty, integrity and skill associated with a professional * Stand behind our work and honour all guarantees and warranties associated with the services which we undertake and the products/parts that we use * Recommend and perform only those services which are in the best interest of the motorist * Continuously update our knowledge to effectively meet the demands of new automotive technology * Continuously update our facility, equipment and tools to meet the demands of today's sophisticated automobiles * Provide the motorist with fair value for services rendered * Maintain a clean and safe workplace and respect the environment in every way possible
Went here for a simple oil change. We had just moved to Dundas and the Welcome Wagon gave my wife a "FREE" oil change coupon. She took the car in for the oil change and the bill came to$50 or so. Bit odd my wife thought since it stated FREE! However she asked for synthetic as that is what she has seen me use. Simple error so the women just charged the difference. All was good! UNTIL the car came home and thats when I noticed an oil leak on the driveway. I didnt think much of it until the next day when it was now a puddle. SO I get underneath and its leaking from the drain plug. Well I see that the plug has been stripped and not straight. I call this shop and they say that it was stripped when they took it out. Hmmm never a problem before ! They didnt even mention it at the time of oil change AND I did the previous 3 oil changes myself. Can you say BS!! Clearly the mechanic over-tightened the plug when he re-installed it with an air gun. The aluminum pan is too soft and strips. Easy mistake! I ask for the owner to call me back and you guesed it , havent heard from them since. Anyways, ended up rethreading the pan and putting in a larger drain plug. Problem solved BUT just want to warn people to take before and after pics before IF you decide to go here so that you can prove your case! As for Mr ECCLES, take responsibility for your employees and dont have your staff pass the buck. I have been in business for over 20yrs and IF one of my staff caused an error , I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY and I MAKE SURE THAT IT IS FIXED. That is taking care of your customers! Think of what could have happened, my wife could have fried the engine or worse, gotten into an accident.

Interesting review. I think after 29 years in business we know a previously stripped drain plug. I agree the aluminum pans are susceptible to thread damage even when tightened correctly. Often the threads come out with drain plug on removal. In fact it is a common repair. We do not use air guns on drain plugs. Sorry for any inconvenience,
