Great Gastrointestinal Health Centre!
The gastroenterologists, Anesthesiologist and nurses are great and efficient! The service is a well timed depending on procedures being done and the overall flow of other post procedures in schedule etc! Definitely a good idea to recommend this service for gastroscope/colonoscopy to people you know! It bypasses having to go to the hospital and sets your mind at ease along with support within the community of Burlington.
I recently had a gastroscopy / colonscopy at the clinic. The minute I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist , very personable. When I walked into the recovery area the nursing staff were amazing , laughing , introducing themselves , kind , made u feel less nervous of the procedure. The bedside manner from the nursing staff to the manager to Dr Ching and her anesthesiologist was 10/10 ,explaining the procedure step by step. What an amazing team !!!! Will definitely recommend this clinic....
Went in May 4th 2019. I am a Doug Ford fan. Now my feelings are split. I Believed I could handle without sedation because Doug said its not a necessity. 2 minutes in I watched the tv screen. Then an unbearable cramp in my upper abdomen SEDATE ME OR KILL ME PLEASE!!!!! I awoke while being wheeled to recovery. If I have to go again without sedation I will avoid no matter the future risk.
I was awake and felt everything throughout the colonoscopy process. What a traumatizing experience. Never again coming back here. I was told I would be sedated for the process. It was a lie.
Great friendly professional environment. Had a colonoscopy performed (1st time) arrived at 12:10 left the office at 1:28 !! No pain, no side effects. Staff were pleasant and provided information every step of the way. Many thanks !!
