Recently I've book a Vet's taxi several times to get to medical appointments. It was important for me to be on time and they never let me down. The cab arrived at my house on time or a bit early, After my appointments I called a Vet's cab to take me home and they always arrived quickly.
Stop letting your cab drivers park outside at 421 Douglas Ave and honk thier horn at least ten times waiting for the people who called the cab to come out. Every f*** night you have woken up my 19mth old....who is sick at 9pm. One honk that's it....then move on!!
Ask for two time the counter amout. This is second time with this company. Each time i send a client with them it end with troubles.
Driver isn't familiar with City and extorted me for approximately 6.00 while driving carelessly, speeding then braking too fast. I'm done with Vets after using them for 35 yrs. They CERTAINLY aren't veterans any longer.
When My car broke down I called the taxi to come to drive me to a Canadian tire that would sell booster cables. Instead of driving me, he tried to boost it himself and let me and my friend sit his warm car well he worked at it. He worked at it for an hour almost and couldnt get it going but he said I understand how you feel so this will be free of charge. The cab drivers are very friendly and I would highly recommend this cab company.
Taxi driver was driving VERY recklessly and almost got into 2 accidents in less than 5 minutes. Would not recommend.
Great service. Whenever we called one, it came right away. They saved my day when I had a taxi schedule with another company a day ahead of time, to call them and discover that they do not have enough cars, and I will have to wait for half an hour for a taxi to be there! Not only this, but the man was rude telling me the info. Vets saved my day and sent me one right away. I gave only 4 stars as some cars are not sparkling. Would certainly recommend. :)
Awful service. Would never recommend this cab company to anyone . The driver was very rude and very unprofessional. The driver was driving recklessly and not safe through sub divisions and main roads. Did not feel safe or reliable for a “safe drive home”. If your looking for good ,professional service would not recommend VETS taxi to anyone speaking from multiple experiences.
Called a cab yesterday and asked for two booster seats, the guy said a car would be right along. I waited 45 minutes with my young kids and the cab didnt show up, I called back just for them to tell me that the one car with two booster seats had gone home. So they left me waiting there for almost an hour with my two young kids without letting me know that a car wouldnt be along and wasted my time. This was my go to company to call. I wont be calling this company again.
Always have good things to say about Vets, only company that has both toddler and booster seats. Never had an issue with delivery, Jon and Bryan both had made sure my stuff got to me ASAP and Leo as a driver is excellent. He always helps either with my groceries or children, friendly and comical. A foreign driver as well that wears a head piece, not sure of his name,always makes sure I tend to my kids while he gets my stuff which is excellnt since I have arms full with the kids most times.
would not recommend due to changing the rate at the end of the ride! Abdullah offered us a tour in St. John for $50/hour. Then 6 hours later when we returned to the dock, he said it would be $65 CDN or $50 USD. 6 of us told Abdul this was unfair - we reluctantly paid $390 CDN but should have only paid the amount of $300. Ruined our day :{

Ok so the first try was alright, Second time, the dispatcher was very rude. "Heh you're going to Milledgeville' she scoffed and mocked me when I told her the destination. How rude... Ugh so yup no tips for them.
Bad Driver and Rude Dispatcher. Both should work in a slaughter house...No people skills whatsoever in an industry that demand them....
Great service
Easily the worst taxi service in saint john. The response time is slow, rates are variable. One day they ask X amount of money for one destination. Another day, they ask for Y amount of money for the same destination. Please choose other taxi service !!!
