I highly recommend Petroglyph Animal Hospital to anyone in need of care for their pet. They are always friendly, caring and helpful. I've been taking my pets here for years and have had absolutely no complaints. I like receiving emailed appointment and vaccine reminders as well. Overall A+ in my books! Keep up the good work all! :)
I have a cat who was feral when he came to us and wasn't too keen on human contact with anyone besides us. We have had him for 3 years now and taking him to the vet is always a not so great experiences. We took him to other vets on the island and they treated him less than great, didn't take their time with him, or handled him quite harsh which usually resulted in some scratches on the vet and us. After some bad experiences we avoided taking him to the vet period.
A few friends recommended taking him to Petroglyph and we did and I will NEVER take him, or any other pets anywhere else.
The staff were all very caring and patient with him and it was evident that they love their jobs. The prices were very reasonable and the service was top quality. The vet was very patient and allowed him to walk around the examination room freely. She actually got down on her knees and listened to his breathing and heart while he was walking around. She never forced him to stay still and would take her time when he started getting uncomfortable. Despite a scratch she still gave him plenty of pets and love. When it came time to give him his shots she called in another assistant who very carefully held him down. He had the shots no problem!
Anyone who has hard to deal with pets or are just looking for a great, loving place to get their health taken care of, take them to Petroglyph.
Oh and they have a really cute resident cat who's almost as big as a dog! lol
