Ben Motameni opened Ben's Town Tailor after moving to Canada in 1994. Since then, his unstoppable work ethic has earned him a place in Maple Ridge. At the time, Ben had just gotten married and was looking for a way to support his family for years to come. He'd worked in his father's garment factory so the tailoring business wasn't new to him, and this background combined with a lifetime of experience prepared him to create beautifully tailored clothes for the Maple Ridge community.
With the perfect combination of experience and passion, Ben was primed for to do well in Maple Ridge. He recounts the drive that initially brought his success: “I started working for the people night and day,” he recalls. “I tried so hard, you know, I was working 16 to 18 hours a day, and just to do the best work for the people. And then the people talk to each other.” With minimal advertising, Ben's work began to speak for itself.
