This bank is not your friend

My husband passed away two and a half weeks ago. I went to his business bank on Tuesday, The Bank of Montreal in the Summit Shopping Center, to get his safety deposit box and a savings account. He had given me the key and told me he put our wills, other documents and his wedding ring in there. He knew he would be dying soon and put the ring in there so I wouldn't misplace it during the confusion and emotion of his passing. The assistant manager wouldn't let me see the box let alone have it...
