My GE stove's controller caught fire on December 21, 2017 and melted the components. I contacted GE and got the response-"there's nothing they can do." "The stove is 5 years old-there's nothing they can do." "Did I completely investigate the availability of parts?-there's nothing they can do." "Did I call a service technician? [no, my father-in-law is a retired electrician and he showed me the melted part.]-there's nothing they can do." "The stove is 5 years old-there's nothing they can do."
