I find the food and drinks fantastic however i strongly dislike the inability to make a reservation on weekdays after 5:30 or weekends. The wait on some occasions has been well over an hour. I can appreciate from a business sense that it is about generating profit however I am finding myself less and less drawn here simply because of that fact.
A friend recommended this place and I was not disappointed. It has a casual feel to it with mostly booth seating and a comfortable atmosphere. The bevy of young cuties they have staffing the place made a decent effort to keep us satisfied and got all the basics right. What I really like about the place is that they keep it reasonable. No outrageous wine list, daily drink specials and for Calgary, reasonable food prices. Our steaks were excellent. Good chunks of meat, cooked exactly as we requested. Didn't want asparagus with your meal? No problem. Snow peas it is. I'l definitely be back.
Overpriced prefabricated food in mind? Then eat here. Very disappointing quality for the cost, even drinks were smaller than we expected. I won't be returning here.
These guys have nailed service and food... I am continuously impressed with the level of service and the quality of food. I had the Creole Chicken and it is now a staple for me, my girlfriend loves the steaks (She thinks its great they know how to actually cook it right the first time). We asked the server for a wine to go with it and she picked a beautiful bottle that did not cost me an arm and a leg.
The music is fun and up beat but not to loud that you have to yell at each other.
Easy for me to say everyone needs to experience this fantastic restaurant in the SW near Chinook centre, you will no be disappointed.
