At the time, I was looking for a trendy place that my husband could go to and not get a hack job! At its new Whyte Avenue location, expect modern styling but it still has those classic traditions any great barbershop would have. They understand style, mastering the masculine cuts, buzzes and fades. And, they help with manscaping the ever-so-popular beard.

Because - let’s face it - isn’t it the worse when you go to the hair dresser and they make your hair look amazing but the moment you get home you can never achieve that look again? I saw Sarah Cameron for my wedding hair styling; she did an amazing job doing concept magazine like hair for my big day. She is truly an artist in her craft.

I have gotten unbelievable results, including strengthening and conditioning my locks - they know hair repair. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Keratase Chronologiste Treatment; it’s like caviar for your hair! My hair had never felt so smooth; it was unbelievable luxurious. This is a south side hair gem nestled in the Riverbend area.

They use both vintage setting and modern styling techniques to create a great hairstyle for those big events in your life. Plus, this salon does amazing hair extensions! I’ve had several different types of extensions over the years; I now know to go with a pro to avoid any unwanted damage to your hair. I’ve been in a large wedding party and they easily handled everyone at once in both a stylish and timely manner.

This salon has one of the largest staffs in Edmonton, so it can be easy to get an appointment if you are looking for a last minute change of style. Plus, they carry one of my favourite product lines by Kevin Murphy. If you are just in the need for some new products, this place has an amazing selection - I suggest Kevin Murphy’s Angel Masque. It’s a repairing conditioner to treat fine, dry or over processed hair. It contains quinoa proteins, tripeptides, lotus flower and bamboo extracts.
