The tradition of brunch is a ritual that many Torontonians take seriously. TOCA’s weekend brunch is a bevy of Italian eats that includes fresh salads, eggs Benedict, burgers and seafood. The brunch is an exclusive affair, with some menu items available only at TOCA, including the famous selection of cheese from its very own Cheese Cave. And, of course, all of this is complemented with a glass of bubbly. The brunch menu is plated Saturday, and is served buffet-style on Sundays.
Le Select Bistro takes a Parisian bistro approach to its champagne brunch. The menu includes French classics like smoke salmon eggs Benedict, duck confit and seared foie gras. There are four types of champagne to choose from, it’s best that you ask your server which will pair perfectly with your meal.
Buca Yorkville’s brunch menu is decedent and posh, and goes perfectly with a champagne accompaniment. The brunch includes Buca’s famous pizzas, fresh salads, seafood and risotto, that is completed table side in a wheel of fresh parmesan.
Montecito is inspired by the West Coast for its Sunday brunch. The brunch focuses on clean California cuisine, with inspiration from local ingredients. Executive Chef Matt Simpson’s menu includes a Montecito Benedict with Bloody Mary Hollandaise and roasted pork belly.
Bosk’s brunch menu truly has something for everyone. Whether you want something light like the chilled tomato consommé, or something more robust like the 416 eggs Benedict, Bosk has all appetites covered. The brunch is two courses at the prix-fixe price of $44, but you’ll have to pay extra for that mimosa trolley!
When Daniel Boulud was coming up with a menu for his Toronto restaurant, he took inspiration from his days with his family in Lyon. The menu is served in either two courses or three, and includes the signature rotisserie chicken on top of Belgian waffles. The brunch is served on Sundays.
If the King Edward Hotel wasn’t already regal enough, it serves Sunday brunch in the Sovereign Ballroom. The brunch is served buffet style, and includes a seafood bar, an omelette station, Beef Wellington and a decadent assortment of cake! The champagne menu is on rotation.
A little bit of Paris on King West, Colette’s brunch menu is served all weekend. The a la carte menu showcases the best of Parisian cuisine, including a selection of tartines, beef tartare and croque monsieur. The buffet brunch is a delectable spread that includes a massive seafood bar, fresh salads, an omelette station and a collection of Colette’s freshly baked croissants.
The champagne selection at La Societe originates in Mediterranean countries, which should give you an idea of what the brunch menu is like. The brunch has all the standards, including pancakes, quiche and a lobster BLT. Brunch is served on weekend mornings.
